POSITION OVERVIEW

Program Coordinators support Lift to Rise’s strategic and operational objectives by performing program-related services and activities in support of Riverside County’s United Lift Rental Assistance program. In this role, a program coordinator will coordinate with tenants and landlords to process emergency rental assistance for persons experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

  • Manage external communications from tenants and landlords related to rental assistance:
    • Manage questions on team@unitedlift.org not related to final review questions
    • Manage Facebook messages coming in asking rental assistance related questions
  • Answer the office phone:
    • Direct the message to the correct point of contact;
    • Respond to questions in regards to the United Lift Rental Assistance Program; and
    • Assist residents with a status update
  • Distinguish between urgent and non-urgent matters, identify potential escalated questions in order to de-escalate, including:
    • Respond to communications that do not require follow-up from Program Lead or Special Projects Manager
    • Direct the urgent cases to the correct point of contact
  • Manage communications on Zendesk not associated with current applications, including:
  • Create and update user profiles as well as tickets for the landlord-initiated applications:
    • Communicate to tenants and inform them about the initiated application completed by their landlord
    • Reach out to tenants and landlords to guide them through the landlord-initiated application
  • Refer applicants and participants to community agencies as appropriate
  • Perform data entry as required
  • Participate in program meetings and training as required
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
